Class Description:

Through hands on activities discover the endless ways the simple MaKey MaKey kit can integrate
within the curriculum while encouraging students to create and innovate! MaKey MaKey is an
invention kit that turns everyday objects in the classroom into controllers and touchpads.
(Examples: make a Banana Piano, play-dough keyboard or graphite game controller). Then learn
the basics of Scratch and see how your students can use this to control your MaKey Makey.
Participants will create their own MaKey MaKey project to take back to the classroom along
with resources and ideas for classroom integration. Cost includes a Makey Makey kit and lunch.
