Class Name: Chromebooks Can do That?

Class Description:
Come learn about the unique features of the Chromebook. Learn how
to navigate special keys on the keyboard. Learn how to take advantage
of built-in accessibility features such as text to speech and on screen
keyboard. You will also learn simple classroom strategies for keeping
students on-task while using Chromebooks. Several Chrome extensions
will be shared that will enhance your instruction and students’ learning.
The goal of this class is to help you become more familiar with
Chromebooks even if they aren’t the computer you use on a daily basis.

Courses are FREE to all TCCSA area districts. Use time earned in this
class toward graduate credit through Ashland University. (For grad
credit, participant pays a $200 fee to AU paid upon completing 15
course hours)

If you are outside of the TCCSA region, a 3 hour class costs $50, a 2
hour class costs $30. Online courses are $10 an hour (courses vary
from 1 hour to 3 hours).
