Class Name: Financial Literacy Resources for Your classroom
Class Description:

Three presenters will introduce you to resources to help you
fulfill Ohio’s Learning Standards in Financial Literacy.
Elle Benak will introduce you to free, state aligned
activities to be used to supplement your curriculum.
Students can learn about earning, saving, budgeting and
inflation from a Virtual Field Trip with the Cleveland
Federal Reserve Bank.
Megan Foreman from EVERFI will introduce free digital
activities focusing on essential real-world topics,
including interpersonal skills, mental health, finances, and
career readiness. The easy-to-use, self-graded lessons are
self-paced and interactive, providing personal, meaningful

Rebecca Rosecrans, facilitator of this session, will wrap up
by sharing Financial Literacy resources for High School
Students with paired activities and Gale’s eBook collection.

Use time earned as seat time, for a certificate of
participation, or combine 15 hours to earn a graduate
credit. The fee for Graduate Credit through Ashland
University is $200 and paid upon completing course
